Checkered Area Rug

Room aesthetic: Modern, Retro

A checkered area rug in a cotton and polyester blend, with an allover checkerboard pattern that stays visible around beds, desks, and chairs. Eight sizes make it work as a bedroom rug or dorm rug while leaving room for furniture placement.

Why You'll Love It

• Cotton in the blend. The cotton and polyester mix gives it a softer hand than an all-polyester checker rug, which matters where bare feet land first.
• Eight size options. The range runs from smaller bedside choices to larger floor coverage, so the same pattern works in dorms and apartments.
• Pattern stays visible. Repeating checks cover the full surface, so the design still shows when a bed, desk, chair, or table covers the center.
• Five colorways. Black, Blue, Green, Purple, and White Blue use the same square grid, so the choice comes down to how much contrast you want.
• Simple furniture works. Try light wood, cream bedding, chrome, or matte black. The geometric pattern carries the detail, so the rest of the room can stay simple.
